A nice tour today up to the Col du Tacul then back down via its south west couloir and the Glacier des Périades. The original plan was to drop down the other side and ski the Capucin Couloir, but with the snow seeming so good on the way up it proved too hard to resist just skiing down the way we came. Not many photos, but the snow was as good as hoped; fast, freeride skiing all the way down. Great fun!

I was there yesterday with my friends. First to skin up, first to ride down. We stopped at the bergschrund when we heard a “woum”, and there was a lot of snow. Did you go to the top of col du tacul? If so how did the north face look like?

Hi Igal, thanks for putting in the skin track! I went to the top of the col, my partner decided to wait at the bottom. I didn’t actually look the other side, but I imagine it would be very good, albeit quite heavily loaded.
